Many people that have curly hair wish it was straight, and people with straight hair want their hair to be curly. Here is one saying: we always want what we can’t have.

Most of the people do a lot when it comes to changing their hair. They use chemicals and heating tools to keep their hair straight.

Unluckily, these procedures harm the hair, leading to frizziness and even hair loss for good.

What Causes Frizz?

Curly hair is normally caused by the genetic trait that some people carry. But, a frizzy, dull and poufy curls may be a sign of damage or malnutrition.

Your hair can become dry because your scalp doesn’t have enough oil to moisturize it, or your parts lets moisture get away.

Out hair don’t have natural lubrication. It depend on oils made from the scalp to keep your curls moisturized and looking shiny. If you want your body to produce these oils, you need to get the proper nutrients.

At times, the scalp doesn’t make enough oil, which leads to dry curls (Similarly, roots in overdrive lead to an oily and greasy head.) Also, the chemicals found in hair-care products may take away your hair’s natural moisture and weaken your hair.

Because the roots are under your skin, dry scalp goes together with dry hair. Dry scalp sheds and peels, thus leading to dandruff flakes on our shoulders.

Common causes of hair damage include:

  • Drying your hair too often — particularly when you use alcohol-based styling products first
  • Using curling irons or heated straighteners, even high end products
  • Exposing your hair to lots of dry air, wind or sun
  • Having chemical treatments, like color dyes, perms, and relaxers
