If you decide to try this treatment, first you need to mix a tablespoon of Amla oil with 3-4 drops of essential oil of choice (peppermint or rosemary oil). Apply on the scalp with a gently massage, leave it for about 30 minutes and then wash the hair by using your regular shampoo.

For the best results, repeat this process two times a week. You can also leave the oil on your hair overnight for a maximum effect.

To make a super anti-dandruff treatment, you can combine Amla oil with a little coconut oil and tea tree oil, which both have strong anti-fungal properties.

Mix 3-4 drops tea tree oil with 1/2 tablespoon of Amla oil and 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil, apply on the scalp as already mentioned and leave it at least 2-3 hours or overnight. After this time, rinse your hair as usual.
